2021 CHELANMAN EVENT CANCELLED
The Chelanman team has made the decision to cancel our July, 2021 event.
We are hopeful that with vaccines, continued community awareness, and a broadening understanding of this pandemic, we will be on track with the rest of the world to be fully open and running by summer 2022.

As always, we are so very grateful for your continued support of our community's annual event supporting local youth.

Athletes have called our event the most well-supported, well-organized triathlon they've ever done. The Chelan community comes together every year to show our guests what community means. Our event is supported by over 200 local volunteers. In fact, the entire race (except safety support systems such as EMS, Lifeguards, Flaggers, Sheriffs) is put on by volunteers. We give 100% of our profits to youth programs supporting the arts, science, math, wellness-programs, literature, sports....

Please join us July 17 and 18, 2021 to celebrate our 14th year of showing what a community can accomplish to support healthy lifestyles for youth, athletes, and families!

Welcome Athletes!

In 2007, a group of local athletes made the decision to create a multi-sport weekend of triathlons and running events. They already knew they had a jewel of a playground and the perfect venue for a race.

Thus ChelanMan was born.  There is something for every level of athletic ability. The weekend includes a first-timer triathlon, a Youth triathlon, Sprint, Olympic, and Half-Iron distance triathlons, a 5K run, a 10K run and a half marathon. We even have a Splash-n-Dash so the whole family can participate. Come to experience your first race or come to compete to win, but make sure you come to have fun!

Lake Chelan Multisport Foundation (the previously mentioned group of local athletes) is a nonprofit organization. We donate all of the profits from the multisport weekend to arts, literature, and wellness programs for youth in the Chelan Valley.

100% of all profits go to local youth programs
